Dear Damascus Community Church family,
“Thank you” seems hardly enough to express our gratitude
and love towards you for the support and thoughtfulness
that you have shown us
over these past six months of Eli’s cancer treatment.
Prayers, meals, sitting with Eli so Sue could attend
some home basketball games, phone calls, notes of
encouragement, and financial support were just some of
the ways that
you surrounded us with love and concern. We love and
appreciate you all!

BAPTISM... When Jesus commissioned
His disciples to carry on the work He began, He called them
to make more disciples who would follow Him. They were to
be identified in a particular way - through baptism. The
practice of baptism has been a rite by which followers publicly
declare their decision to follow Jesus, and unite with others
in the community of believers, since the first preaching
of the gospel. If you would like to learn more about baptism,
or are interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor
Steve (Steve
Hardy ~ at ~ damascuscc ~ dot ~ org).
