Dear DCC Family -
Praying together is an essential part of our life as a church body. For that reason, please consider participating in two important opportunities to pray together as a church body.
All-Church Zoom Prayer Meeting - August 30th at 7pm
From Prayer Ministry Director, Merle Marks
Do you have a loved one who has yet to turn to Christ? We'd love to pray specifically for them and their salvation. Please email their name and any specifics you feel comfortable sharing. You can also join us Wednesday, August 30th at 7PM via Zoom. Email me and I will gladly send you the Zoom link - drmerle123[at]yahoo.com
Sunday Post-Service Prayer - September 3
On September 3, following the 10:30am service, we will be inviting those who are able to remain in the Auditorium and join us in briefly praying for a few strategically important items. One or more of the Elders will be on hand to lead that prayer time. For those who have children in the Sunday School, please pick up your kids and have them join you so that our Children's Ministry workers might join us if they desire.
If you are unable to stay that morning, we understand. Please plan that Sunday to promptly exit the Auditorium and continue your fellowship in the Lobby.
Our goal is to pray for no more than 20 minutes so as to not disturb any other meetings, lunch plans, or Sunday afternoon plans.
"Praying together is not a luxury, nor is it something just for 'spiritual' Christians; it's the very breath of the church" - Paul E. Miller, A Praying Church, p. 7
