Damascus Community Church has a history of partnering in ministry with the Salvation Army, Gresham Corps. This year, the Salvation Army has reached out to DCC for help in their "Toy and Joy" program, which provides toys to children who would not otherwise receive gifts at Christmas. Their outreach includes children of refugees, and those from the Rockwood area (an area of DCC's ministry focus).
If you would like to get involved, volunteers are needed to help sort toys, choose gifts and pack bags, beginning Dec. 6. Please see the graphic below and contact Lisa Cole at lisa.cole@usw.salvationarmy.org.
