Registration is CLOSED for DCC's Sports and Art Camp. Please make sure your child will be able to attend most of camp from August 5-9 (Monday-Friday) @ 9:00am-12:15pm. Please invite your friends and neighbors!
Camp is for students entering grades 1-6 in the 2024-2025 school year. Skills will include basketball, soccer and art. Robotics will also be offered for 4th-6th grade only. No prior skill experience is necessary. The registration fee will be $30 per camper ($40 for art).
We will be learning how God as our King died for us, giving us eternal life, making it possible to be a courageous vessel just like Esther. Basketball campers will have fun learning and playing the game of basketball while hearing the good news of Jesus and building disciples. Basketball campers will need shoes appropriate for playing basketball (no sandals or slip-on shoes). Soccer campers will learn and practice the fundamentals of soccer as well as sportsmanship and team work. Soccer campers will need shin guards and cleats (which are nice but not mandatory) or shoes appropriate for playing soccer (no sandals or slip-on shoes). Art campers will be discovering whether there is art in the Bible and exploring the world of art in the book of Esther. Robotics campers (4th-6th grade only) will be looking at what it takes to build a robot and touching on electronics and mechanics. Robotics campers will be assembling a robot as they learn about each subsystem.
Families are invited to join us for our final activities on Friday 8/9, beginning at 11:00am. These activities may include a project, parent vs. camper scrimmage, or a showcase depending on the age/skill of your child.
Instructions: Sign up each child for one skill (make sure you click on the correct skill link). You cannot change skills once registration is submitted. A registration fee will be collected at the end of the sign up form.
