No matter what the circumstances, grief is a painful process. We will be offering a GriefShare support group for people dealing with the death of a family member or friend.

GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Over 13 weeks, you’ll find relief and comfort as you learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate your personal grief process. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

The program includes videos, workbook, and time for discussion. We will meet January 12th through May 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Damascus Community Church in Classroom 101. There will be a $20.00 charge for the workbook which will be available at the first class. You may sign up online at GriefShare.org (look for Find a Group on the home page). We will meet on Sundays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM beginning January 12, 2025. For additional support, please contact Marianne Wallace at marianne.wallace@damascuscc.org, or 503-698-84 zero zero.
