In Philippians 1:12, Paul contends that his struggles in prison were worth it because it had “served to the advance the gospel.” Paul was willing to give up his freedom, his comfort, and his life, for the sake of the advancement of the gospel, even among those whom he would never meet. Pray that the advancement of the gospel would continue to be our primary focus as we take steps forward in facility development, and that in all things, we would be willing to make whatever sacrifices God calls us to, in service to the advancement of the gospel….even if it involves those whom we will never meet.
