March 3-7, 2025 - Eagle Eye News

As we roll into March, Spring sports get underway as well as festival season for our choirs, ensembles and soloists. Congratulations and job well done to all our soloists and ensemble groups who competed this past Saturday at the district festival. Special congratulations to Kaleb Adams for placing 2nd in the Bass section, Jocelyn Weston for placing 3rd in the Soprano section and our ensemble group 4you for placing 3rd. With only a few weeks left of the elementary basketball season, take some time to catch a few games and cheer our young eaglets on! Get all the deets in this week’s edition of the Eagle Eye.

In the spirit of good neighbor relations, we encourage everyone to avoid using Royer Road and the parking lot behind Sparky’s pizza as a turnaround point to go eastbound on highway 212. The school has received a number of complaints from neighbors who live on Royer Road expressing their frustration over the backup this causes for the local residents. Please consider using the Safeway or Bi-Mart parking lots to achieve the same thing.

Do you have your calendars marked already for the book fair we will be hosting in April? SkyTree Book Fair is a nonprofit organization committed to family-friendly book fairs that let kids be kids. SkyTree believes that book fairs should not expose students to explicit content, but instead, nurture a love for reading through wholesome, age-appropriate adventures. They serve schools and families by pre-screening books and excluding literature that contains explicit content. Check out the SkyTree Book Fair Flyer and mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 2nd through Friday, April 4th!
